Clay Sourcing

We are constantly in search of raw clays that result from the excavations of large infrastructure projects or the overburdens and tailings from mining and quarrying operations. Our work is carried out in accordance to the highest mining standards.

Clays from Infrastructure Project Excavations

If you're planning a large infrastructure project or multiple smaller developments within the same region, we'll be happy to receive and test soil samples from the areas to be excavated.

Should the samples contain enough clay that adheres to our standards for cement-making, we can explore offtake opportunities that could be cheaper than your local landfill fees.

Clays Tailings and Overburdens from Mining & Quarrying Operations

If you are planning or running mining or quarrying operations with significant clay overburdens or tailings, we can help you valorise the waste and get it off your premises.

Proprietary Analysis of Geological Surveys & Clay Samples

Over the years we've refined our capabilities to analyse geological surveys and databases, combining this information with the tests we carry out on physical clay samples to determine if a clay deposit is suitable for our needs.

"The approach focusing on eco-material development by utilizing soil and clay from the Grand Paris Express to create reusable materials for the Grand Paris Express is like finding the holy grail because we achieve both circular economy objectives...while also deploying more sustainable materials."

Process & Timeline

1

Please provide details of your project/operations, including location, planned volumes, and all available documentation: G2 and G3 soil studies, ISDI files, XRD characterizations, GTR classification, etc. A confidentiality agreement will be established at the same time as this contact.

2

If the details of your project are accepted after our initial geological assessment, we will propose dates for site visits for field sampling: at the quarry face, the excavation area, or in the core bank.

3

Within one week, we will inform you whether your samples meet our technical standards and our clay mixing capabilities.

4

Once these prerequisites are met, we will invite you to visit our Saint-Maximin facility to meet us and develop a mutual vision for a partnership based on technical, financial, and logistical criteria.
